A tribute to the famous Baltimore citizen, Edgar Allan Poe, and his poem, "The Raven". The Maryland Raven has taken on a life of its own thanks to the Baltimore NFL football team of the same name. "Quoth the raven, 'Nevermore.'"
Joe Barsin's design and Illustration work has been recognized in prestigious annual award competitions including "Print" magazine, "Communication Arts", "Graphic Design: USA", "American Institute of Graphic Artists". His illustrations have been showcased in three editions of the Adobe Illustrator Bible and he has given lectures on computer graphic Illustration. In 2004, Joe illustrated Maryland's Bay Plate, the state car license plate that "Treasure the Chesapeake". Joe is originally from Akron, Ohio, and grew up loving art. He was fortunate to have traveled extensively with his family while a child and experienced art and culture all throughout Europe.
