Artist's Description
Mid-Atlantic Series. Washington D.C. embodies the spirit of American Freedom and is most beautiful each spring during the Cherry Blossom Kite Festival. 2012 is a special year since the country will be celebrating the centennial year of the gift of the Cherry trees from Japan.
This is Joe Barsin's most recent artwork. It is the first in a series that will be celebrating the Mid-Atlantic Region.
About Joe Barsin
Joe Barsin's design and Illustration work has been recognized in prestigious annual award competitions including "Print" magazine, "Communication Arts", "Graphic Design: USA", "American Institute of Graphic Artists". His illustrations have been showcased in three editions of the Adobe Illustrator Bible and he has given lectures on computer graphic Illustration. In 2004, Joe illustrated Maryland's Bay Plate, the state car license plate that "Treasure the Chesapeake". Joe is originally from Akron, Ohio, and grew up loving art. He was fortunate to have traveled extensively with his family while a child and experienced art and culture all throughout Europe.
