In this illustration, Joe Barsin visualizes the scene of Romeo Montague first dance with Juliet Capulet at her families Ball. These two Renaissance-era Verona, Italy families are sworn enemies so this union of Romeo and Juliet is unthinkable. A tragic romance.
About Joe Barsin
Joe Barsin's design and Illustration work has been recognized in prestigious annual award competitions including "Print" magazine, "Communication Arts", "Graphic Design: USA", "American Institute of Graphic Artists". His illustrations have been showcased in three editions of the Adobe Illustrator Bible and he has given lectures on computer graphic Illustration. In 2004, Joe illustrated Maryland's Bay Plate, the state car license plate that "Treasure the Chesapeake". Joe is originally from Akron, Ohio, and grew up loving art. He was fortunate to have traveled extensively with his family while a child and experienced art and culture all throughout Europe.
