"The Firebird" (French: L'oiseau de feu, pronounced: [lwazo də f¿]; Russian: Жар-птица Žar ptica Russian pronunciation: [ˌʐar ˈptʲitsə]) is a 1910 ballet created by the composer Igor Stravinsky. The ballet is based on Russian folk tales of the magical glowing bird of the same name that is both a blessing and a curse to its captor.
The "Rite of Spring", original French title Le sacre du printemps (Russian: Весна священная, Vesna svyashchennaya), is a ballet with music by Igor Stravinsky.
Joe Barsin's design and Illustration work has been recognized in prestigious annual award competitions including "Print" magazine, "Communication Arts", "Graphic Design: USA", "American Institute of Graphic Artists". His illustrations have been showcased in three editions of the Adobe Illustrator Bible and he has given lectures on computer graphic Illustration. In 2004, Joe illustrated Maryland's Bay Plate, the state car license plate that "Treasure the Chesapeake". Joe is originally from Akron, Ohio, and grew up loving art.
