Illustration by Joe Barsin of Citizen Pride, in partnership with Annapolis's Schooner Woodwind. With the steeples and cupolas of Annapolis in background, local artist, Joe Barsin, worked with the Kaye family to feature their beloved Schooner Woodwind as it sets sail for the Chesapeake.
The cool blues and greens contrasts the warm sunset behind the skyline.

Joe Barsin's design and Illustration work has been recognized in prestigious annual award competitions including "Print" magazine, "Communication Arts", "Graphic Design: USA", "American Institute of Graphic Artists". His illustrations have been showcased in three editions of the Adobe Illustrator Bible and he has given lectures on computer graphic Illustration. In 2004, Joe illustrated Maryland's Bay Plate, the state car license plate that "Treasure the Chesapeake". Joe is originally from Akron, Ohio, and grew up loving art. He was fortunate to have traveled extensively with his family while a child and experienced art and culture all throughout Europe.
